'Hair' and there
'Hair' today is gone tomorrow - this phrase says it all! Everyone shares a give and take relationship with hair, so lets see whether our Small screen stars give their Mane the much deserved importance or not...

The whole personality of an actor plays an important role in the character they are potraying on screen, and Hair is definitely is of utmost importance. A little carelessness, and there they go, spoiling the whole mood of the show and the character they are giving life to. In the recent past, hair played an important role in the success of movies - how we can forget the mega success of "Dil Chahta hai", with the looks of Amir,Priety and Saif being the talk of the town..the whole Generation Awakened not only with the movie Rang de Basanti, but also with DCH before that, strictly in the fashion sense, through its trendy, hip and happening style.
Divanka Tripathi : Are our small screen “bahus” scared of changing their hair style? Her hair is extremely boring. She needs a stylist who can make her look the best as she is gifted with a glowing, beautiful and enduring face. She looks really nice with curly hair. So get it done baby! The sooner the better.
Shweta Tiwari: I have noticed that most of female protagonist of television have straight
shoulder length hair, why ? May be they want to have at least one thing without any twist and turns ! But come on! At least use different colours or streaks to make you look “hatke”..nonetheless its time for her granddaughters to have such things, though, even at the on screen age of 60 something she can give them stiff competition.
TB Ratings: 6/10
Smirti Irani : Tulsi Virani is a name which has become synonym with her , gave her everything...except the scope of experimenting, in terms of her dressing and hair styling specially! But now, like Vasudha of Virrudh, she is out to prove that even she is a contemporary heroine of the small screen and has a long way to go before she can be bracketed with the likes of Baa. Her hair is just fine and according to the role, it's nicely styled out and she is on the way to make a niche for herself!
TB Ratings: 8.5/10
Shweta Kwatra :She is a true Diva and a Style Queen ! She keeps on changing her hair and looks all the time, there is no comparison to her and with specks offscreen, and always manages to make a style statement of her own!
TB Ratings : 9/10
Sakshi Tanwar : She has changed her hairdo thanks to
Manish Malhotra, the wonder designer credited with the sensational career defining makeovers for the likes of
Urmila Matondkar, Karishma kapoor and Rani Mukherjee. Manish came to the rescue of our Parvati as well , giving her an elegant and sophisticated look with those Razor cut hair and chic clothing, some cool experiments with sarees that have been refreshing to watch in otherwise tear prone show.Take a bow!
TB Ratings: 9/10
Gauri Hiten Tejwani : She is another actress not afraid of "experiments" long ,short and curly she has it all and currently her sweet short blunt cut look is making her look like a porcelain doll, her hour glass figure never failing to complement her ever changing hair styles. Way to go Gauri!
TB Ratings : 10/10
Sharad Kelkar: He was Grasim Mr. finalist ,so obviously a good looking handsome chap, but can this be said about his mane as well..nah!! A BIG NO! His hairstyle reminds you of those mythological shows where arrows travelled till you fell asleep, the length and the curl in the end more suitable to a Mahabharata warrior rather than the ideal pati of the 21st century that he plays. All in all, he needs to visit his Hairstylist at the earliest and please sue him as well if possible..run now PLEASE!
TB Ratings: 3.5/10
Ram Kapoor : He can not be saved! He has the most horrendous hair at the moment, his current hairstyle is looking awful with the extra pounds he is carrying, making him look like a good old man rather than the romantic lead of the serial - so he needs to immediately chop some of his mane off along with a LOT of that fat of course.
TB Ratings: 5/10
Sharad Malhotra : This is called grit and determination. From playing second fiddle in an afternoon daily to a Lead in one of the most loved shows is truly a splendid effort. Wish I could say same thing about his hair as well, which was hidden by him for centuries under his golf cap,his most loved possession. But his latest Tom Cruise meets Saif Ali Khan Look is surely a Talk of the Town ....just his hair length is a bit of concern.
TB Ratings : 7/10
Anand Surywanshi : Clean cut hair without any fuss and complication, with specks. On that height, it looks stunning and increases oomph quotient for sure. He is definitely one of the Best Looking Dad of Small screen right now..a dream of every girl to have a boyfriend like him, leave alone Father-in-law! Another actor whose USP lies in his simplicity from top to toe.
TB Ratings: 9.5/10
Ronit Bose Roy :The
Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan of the Idiot Box can give many Big
screen stars to run for their money. Be it his salt and pepper hair of Kasuti or
Sanjay Dutt inspired look of Mihir for the time being or latest Aprajit Deb look of Kasamh se, he loves experimenting with his hair and he doesn’t need to do anything but smile!
TB Ratings: 10/10

Doesn't all those hair product destroy hair quality? I should recommend that they should all go to Instasculpt clinic when they lose hair in the future.

I really liked this topic for an article, although I wish they rated more tv stars. For the female stars, lightening and dying their hair always looks fake...but curls could work. Poor Sharad! His hair(and the cute curls!)are one of his best features! I'd give him a 10/10. But Ronit's hairdos are really good; the hairdressers must love doing his hair! ~Lady Black~
