Had no qualms to play a mother at such a young age in ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3’: Prerna Panwar aka Elena

Sony TV show ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3’ is getting a lot of love and adulations from the fans. The season 3 of the show started with a bang and the viewers are loving the intriguing story-line in the show. Sonakshi and Dev has learned that Suhana isn’t their real daughter. Sonakshi delivered a baby boy but Rohit exchanged the babies as he wanted to raise a baby boy.

Well, the show also witnessed a few new child artists being roped in for the show. While young actress is always skeptical playing a mother on-screen, Prerna Panwar who plays the character of Elena has no qualms about playing a mother onscreen. India Forums got in touch with petite actress and quizzed her on the same. She said, “Honestly, I feel as an actor, the age of the character shouldn’t really matter, the scope of performance should. I believe it’s all in the mind. If today, I get a character of an elderly person and I fit to part and am convinced with the character, I will accept the offer. When I step on to the sets, I’m not Prerna anymore, I become Elena and if the character is progressing to be a mother, I don’t really find a problem to portray the same”.

Prerna further added, “When the makers narrated that Elena has become a mother. It was a challenge for me to bring that maturity of a mother on-screen. Elena has been this fun-loving kid herself, so playing a mother to a child in it self was quite challenging. Having said that, I was never skeptical about the role. I didn’t even for once though of not doing the show just because I have to play a mother”.
