Golmaal 5: Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty to team up for the fifth film? Complete franchise line-up of the star

Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again has proved to be winner at the box office. The movie has made Rs 186.7 crore (net) at the end of the first week. Rohit Shetty in an interview has confirmed that Ajay Devgn and he will be teaming up once again for Golmaal 5. He said he will work on the comedy movie before he decided to make his next action movie. Rohit Shetty said it is more fun and less stressful to do a comedy movie. He said a film like Golmaal is like a ‘detox’ for him. Singham Again got mixed reviews but the film did great business in Maharashtra and Gujarat. 

Ajay Devgn is one of the stars who has a huge line-up of franchise movies coming up. Raid 2

Ajay Devgn will be back as Amay Patnaik in the second movie directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor are part of the cast as well. It is coming in February 2025. 

Shaitaan 2

Ajay Devgn and Vikas Bahl will be pairing up for Shaitaan 2, which might also see the inclusion of R Madhavan who played the spine-chilling creepy villain in the first movie. This film, will be set in Maharashtra’s Konkan area known for its belief in black magic and superstition. In fact, Maharashtra had also passed an anti-superstition bill.

Drishyam 3

This has to be the most acclaimed franchise of all Ajay Devgn films. The superstar has confirmed that the movie is being scripted. Abhishek Pathak did a fantastic job directing Drishyam 2.

De De Pyaar De 2

Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh’s movie was a blockbuster. He aced the role of the desirable middle-aged man who falls for a pretty young engineer and marries her. In the middle of all this, he ends up having a one-night stand with his estranged wife. 

Dhamaal 4

Bhushan Kumar is also keen on this project. It is in the scripting stage. Ajay Devgn also confirmed that Dhamaal 4 is happening. The film will go on floors by end of 2025. It seems Indra Kumar will get back the entire cast from Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Son of Sardaar 2

Ajay Devgn said he had finished work on Son Of Sardaar 2. The shoot happened in London. It takes forward the story of Jassi Singh Randhawa. Ravi Kishan is also a part of the plot. Mrunal Thakur is the film’s heroine with Vijay Kumar Arora as the filmmaker.

Unsung Warrior Franchise

Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior was one of the best movies of Ajay Devgn’s career. Om Raut made that film on Tanhaji Malusare. He also confirmed that a story is being planned as part of the Unsung Warrior franchise. 

The superstar said such movies had a great recall value. He also said that people were already endeared to the characters, which created buzz at the box office.
