In tonight's episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the newlyweds Rajat (Hitesh Bhardhwaj) and Savi (Bhavika Sharma) seek blessings from their elders following their wedding ceremony. Rajendra praises Savi for uniting the family, noting that usually elders handle this role, but she has succeeded today. Bhagyashree supports Rajendra's sentiment. Shantanu advises Rajat to ensure Savi's happiness. Isha adds that Savi means the world to her, so Rajat should never make her sad, as she will always sense when Savi is unhappy.
Rajendra reassures Isha that he will treat Savi like his own daughter, just as he did with Riddhi and Tara, and if Savi faces any trouble, she can keep a close watch on Rajat and discipline him if needed. Lucky suggests they eat, as everyone is famished, and Milind notes that he arranged for the caterers to serve the meal right there.
Harini and Mrunmayee plan a playful prank on Rajat by serving him gulab jamuns filled with chili. Despite his hesitation, Rajat eats the sweet under the insistence of his siblings and Aman, only to react by asking for water and exclaiming about the unexpected chili. Janaki reveals that Rajat's sisters-in-law pulled a Gujrati-style prank. Sai asks Savi to feed honey to Rajat to counteract the heat. As everyone encourages her, Savi complies and feeds Rajat honey. Rajendra sternly informs Rajat that he must stay with Savi during meals and take her along wherever he goes from now on.
Meanwhile, Arsh informs his lawyer that he is confident of winning Sai's custody in the upcoming court hearing and envisions himself as Sai's legal guardian, intent on keeping Rajat away. Ashika enters and suggests they celebrate, to which Arsh agrees. Ashika proposes they marry after the court proceedings, but Arsh advises her to focus on the custody battle first before thinking of marriage.
As Savi's griha pravesh ceremony begins, Bhagyashree guides her through the rituals in traditional Gujarati style, welcoming Savi into the family as Savi Rajat Thakkar. Sai joyfully anticipates living with her 'pari mamma' and papa, while Rajat reassures her of his love and commitment. Savi explains that Sai will stay with Ashika for the time being but will be with her and Rajat from the next day. Sai bids farewell and leaves.
Rajat, eager to skip the post-wedding traditions, tells Bhagyashree he needs to leave. Tara urges him to return in the evening for the honeymoon suite booked for him and Savi. Both Rajat and Savi initially decline, but Aman convinces Rajat to visit the suite, suggesting it's better than enduring more rituals at home. Rajat agrees and informs his family he will head to the hotel straight from work, much to their delight.
Urmila makes a pointed remark to Isha about Savi's wedding finally taking place and implies that Isha must be relieved of the responsibility. Isha remains quiet. As Harini and Mrunmayee prepare to leave, Latha hugs Isha, expressing regret that she must return to her village but inviting Isha and Shantanu to visit. Isha becomes emotional, reflecting on how much Savi meant to her and her wish for Savi to be loved deeply. Shantanu comforts her, expressing belief that Rajat, despite his outward demeanor, will come to genuinely care for Savi.
Precap for the next episode:
In the precap, Rajat plans to break a pot of curd during the Janmashtami festival for Sai. Arsh interrupts, claiming Sai is his and Ashika's daughter, and harshly suggests that Rajat should instead break his own head on a pot and stop laying claim to Sai.
