Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Rajat upsets Sai by refusing to share Krishna's birth story

In tonight's episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Bhagyashree is distressed upon realising she has forgotten to offer the traditional chappan bhog, which consists of 56 different dishes, to Lord Krishna. Rajendra suggests that instead, she could offer 11 sweets and apologise. Bhagyashree is upset because she has always made sure to offer chappan bhog in the past. Sai asks for an explanation of chappan bhog.
The Thakkar family works together to prepare the chappan bhog, with Rajat making laddoos. Rajendra commends Savi for her idea that influenced Rajat, planning to use it to influence Bhagyashree, but Savi warns that it doesn't always work, especially with women. he family offers the chappan bhog to Lord Krishna. Sai expresses her desire to taste a dish, but Bhagyashree stops her, explaining that Lord Krishna's birthday is celebrated at midnight, so they should wait until then. Sai, curious, asks for the story behind the celebration, leading Bhagyashree to ask Rajat to recount Krishna's birth story. Rajat declines and retreats to his room, leaving Sai disheartened. Bhagyashree tries to persuade Rajat to share the story as he used to for Kian, but he refuses, and she returns downstairs feeling dismayed.
Savi decides to narrate the story in a creative way through sand art. She is interrupted when sand gets into her eyes, and Rajat steps in to continue the story. Afterwards, Sai asks Savi if she is her Yashoda Maiya, and Savi confirms, calling Sai her Kanhaiya. Sai mentions that her pari mamma has many names, to which Savi replies that she gave them to her.
Bhagyashree feels disheartened seeing the sand art go awry, but Rajendra encourages her. Bhagyashree prays for her family's well-being. Rajendra asks Savi and Rajat to rock the cradle of Bal Krishna, which they do together. Tara shares that last year, she and her husband Jigar swung the cradle and were blessed with Nia, suggesting that Savi and Rajat might soon have their own Bal Gopal.
Savi lovingly pampers Sai, calling her her Bal Gopal. Sai inquires about the tradition of dahi handi (curd pot), and Savi explains their direct experience of breaking the pot and enjoying its contents. Lucky mentions that the best place to enjoy breaking dahi handi is in Bhuleshwar, but Rajendra decides to take Sai to a local event instead. Rajat offers to visit Bhuleshwar and enjoy dahi handi. He vows to break the curd pot. Sai is thrilled and thanks him, while Savi remains puzzled by his actions.

In the precap, during the Janmashtami festival, Sai tells Savi that she is her Yashoda Maiya and Savi is her Kanhaiya. Rajat promises to break the curd pot for Sai during the festival. However, Arsh interrupts, asserting that Sai is his and Ashika's daughter, and challenges Rajat to stop claiming Sai as his and to break his own head on a pot instead.
