Gaurav Khanna turns a girl!

Colors and Creative Eye's Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam will soon see their lead actor Gaurav Khanna transform gender…albeit just on-screen!

According to our source, "Gaurav plays Abeer, who is excited about his cousin's marriage. He is always coming up with plans to reduce the tension between the two families who are not over-the-moon about the wedding as it's an inter-caste marriage. He gets together with some friends and plans a little skit explaining how Madhav (Puneet Tejwani) and Rashmi (Rakhee Verma) met each other in the US and how they later fell madly in love with each other.  But, what no one knows is the fact that Abeer is set to entertain the crowd dressed as a girl to play the heroine of the love story - Rashmi!"

Gaurav tells us, "I was very apprehensive about doing this because it was the first time for me. And many a times things can backfire."

When asked what was the first thought that ran through his mind when the total get up was done and he saw himself in the mirror, Gaurav quips, "That, I'm a better looking guy!"

Talking about his co-stars' reactions Gaurav tells us, "They were all teasing me …trying to pull my leg (laughs)."

So what can we expect from this episode? "A lot of fun, excitement with a little bit of the typical drama. It's a good episode," he assures us.

Now, that Gaurav has taken the plunge, what does he have to say? "All that I have to say is, my respect for girls and women all over has gone higher. After experiencing what they have to go through every day, I mean the effort that they have to put just to get themselves dressed up, it takes so long…they deserve all the respect!"

The episode where Gaurav Khanna dons a girl's avatar will be aired in tomorrow's episode..
