Today marks actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav's birthday, where the man has turned 52 years old but seems younger, and more energetic than many out there. The actor has managed to carve out a fascinating and iconic career and has played some of the most loved, adored and funniest characters one can imagine.
Be it Bandya from Chup Chup Ke or Raja from Hungama, the actor's over-the-top slapstick comedy continues to remain relevant and meme-worthy in today's times. However, it is amazing how even though he is best known for his comedy roles, he actually gained prevalence and notice for a powerful role in the film, Jungle (2000) as Sippa. The actor even won a Screen Award for his negative role in the film back then.
It only seems fitting that after all these years, he tries something 'different' than his usual comic image. And what's better than doing the same with an announcement on his birthday. The makers of upcoming film, Son came up with a first look/teaser to wish Yadav on his birthday. Interestingly, he plays a malevolent psychopath in the movie. Other actors such as Anjali Sharma, Hemant Pandey, Gyan Prakash, Subhan Khan and others will also be seen in the film.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmvzI38B2xsYadav plays the character Anthony in the film, a ferociously evil man who commits several crimes but fate has beautiful plans to salvage him from his own evil heart. Directed and produced by Paul Rupesh, the movie was reportedly shot in the Himalayan resort town of Nainital.
Apart from Son, Yadav will be seen in films like SatyaPrem Ki Katha and Dream Girl 2 among others.
