Fraternity comes in support of Hina Khan's humiliation on Social Media by Jitesh Pillaai
Coming from Jitesh Pillaai, the editor of Filmfare, the Insta story on Hina Khan and her appearance in Cannes 2019, was quiet distasteful. Fraternity have come in support of Hina and are openly questioning Pillaai for his remarks.

Hina Khan has made her Cannes debut and the entire TV fraternity is proud of the shining star. While most of her friends and fans are busy congratulating her on the social media, the editor of Filmfare, was in a different mood entirely. Jitesh Pillaai, posted an Instagram story stating quiet an offensive remark for Hina. He wrote,"Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?"
Although Hina Khan has still not reacted to the comment but her friends are furious over the insensitive remark and are bashing Jitesh Pillaai for the audacity to say such demeaning words to a girl who has proved her mettle in the industry, time and again.
Arjun Bijlani came to her rescue and questioned Jitesh saying," Firstly we r all proud that @realhinakhan is at the Cannes film festival.she has reached there on her own and yes Hina u looked stunning.coming to this derogatory comment firstly mr @jiteshpillaai u being the editor of @filmfare and writing something so ridiculous is appalling.secondly don’t forget that filmfare is telecasted on TELEVISION.why don’t u make a film to show filmfare.thirdly don’t ever travel to chandivali I’m sure people there r v upset with u.and lastly u hv no right to ridicule anyone especially a woman . And yes u just made her a superstar so thank you...."
https://www.instagram.com/p/BxhvxbQgpkr/InstagramHina replied with a "Thankyou so so much Arjun to his comment". Nia Sharma, Karan Vir Bohra, Nakuul Mehta, Fazal Khan, Raj Kundra, Gauahar Khan, Simple Kaul, Surbhi Jyoti and many more stood up for the star. They are openly criticizing Jitesh Pillai and are asking him to apologize.

Have a look at her Tweet as well.
Hina herself is extremely proud of her achievement and she has talked about the same in the media many times before. She will soon be showcasing the first look of her upcoming debut movie "Lines". For the uninitiated, Hina Khan walked the red carpet of Cannes for the first time in a gorgeous sheer grey sparkling gown with a plunging neckline. She looked like a Greek goddess of beauty and left her fans spell bind.
While we know who found it Chandivali style, the rest are trying to back Hina up. The trends have started and we can already see #SackJiteshPillaai raising high. Jitesh posted an apology for Hina Khan and said that he didn't mean what was interpreted. He even deleted his Instagram account for a while but it is back up and running now. Have a look at the apology he posted.
He very clearly wrote that he meant that Cannes has become Bollywood centric and that's why he used the words Chandivali studios. Any-who, Hina Khan has accepted his apology and things seem to be all peaceful now.
