Father's Day: Telly Actors Compare Their Fathers To Film Characters!

Today is the day to celebrate fatherhood! A father shows his love and care in so many ways and that has been perfectly portrayed in the movies. Whether its Bollywood or Hollywood, we have seen different shades of father who have showered love to their children in so many ways.

On the occasion of father's day, we quizzed your favorite stars to know as to which Bollywood or Hollywood dad's character, their father resemble. Let's see what did they share with us...

Divyanka Tripathi, who is currently seen on Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein - I don't remember any filmy dawai ki dukaan wala, who works for more than 12 hours, loving, complete and a family man kind of dad. They should make a film on my dad now.

Sumit Kaul, who is currently seen on Colors' Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat - Amitabh Bachchan's character in Waqt is closest to my father. He is disciplinary and strict from outside and soft and extremely protective from inside.

Punit J Pathak, who will be seen judging Dance India Dance Season 5 - Hands down to Will Smith in Pursuit of Happiness. His caring nature, keeping his son as the priority and himself secondary, and becoming an idol for his son with his hard work and perseverance is similar to the qualities of my dad. 

Kavita Kaushik, who is soon to be seen grooving on the dance floor of Jhalak Dikhla Ja Season 8 - I would say its Liam Nisan. My dad has been a cop with special abilities to fight against crime and he has always been a protector and fighter. He has beaten up goons in small towns who used to trouble me or any other ladies; Totally Hero style!

Niti Taylor, who is currently seen on MTV's Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan - I would say Anupam Kher sir from Hum Apke Hain Kaun in which he was shown as a family man, who has managed to provide a great lifestyle for his wife and two daughters. The care and affection with which he has raised his daughters is quite evident in the film just like my dad. My dad is traditional and a God fearing person. He is as firm as he is gentle. He is full of energy and a fun loving person. He chooses and favors his daughters' happiness which means the world to us.
