Farhan Akhtar pens down a heartfelt wish for father Javed Akhtar on his 77th birthday

Javed Akhtar, a lyricist and poet, turned 77 today. Farhan Akhtar, his son, took to Instagram on his father's birthday to write a heartfelt message. 

The 'Toofan' actor shared a vintage photo of his father. "This is how I’ve always known you to be .. thoughtful, restless, curious and always searching for what’s beyond the obvious.

Farhan Akhtar’s girlfriend Shibani Dandekar, left heart emoticons in the comments section as soon as he shared the post. "Happy Birthday Javed sir," wrote Saif Ali Khan's sister Saba Ali Khan. 

According to a recent report, Shibani and Farhan are planning to marry in March 2022. The couple is rumoured to be planning a lavish but low-key wedding, with only family and close friends on the guest list. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, the 'Rock On' actor will be directing his next film, 'Jee Le Zaraa,' which stars Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Farhan's return to directing after nearly a decade will be marked by 'Jee Le Zaraa.'
