One of the most popular and successful film 'Rang De Basanti', directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will complete a decade on this 26th January. The film had won accolades by creating a sense of patriotic feeling among the viewers and its story.
Well, we had many characters in the film that we loved to see and admire. Take a look at few other characters that might have had a small screen space in the film but gave an impacting touch to the story.
Anupam Kher: The veteran actor was seen playing Rajnath Singhania who was a negative character in the film. He appeared to be a corrupt man who is involved with the minister in anti social activities. However, actor Siddharth who was his son named Karan in the film ends up killing him to put an end to his cruel activities.
Om Puri: Even though this versatile actor had a small role in the film, that of a Muslim man who hates conversing with the Hindu community; he had lived up to it very well. In the film his character tries to keep his son away from his Hindu friends by saying that it's against their culture and society.
Kirron Kher: Kirron had an important role to play. She was seen playing Aamir Khan's mother. Her character comprised of a sacrificing mother who happily allows her son to risk his life and also give it away for the motherland if need be. In spite of knowing the fact that she might lose her son, she happily stands by him and supports his throughout.
As we had reported earlier, the cast and crew will celebrate the decade long success of the film with a special screening that will be held at a Juhu theater followed by a house party at Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's residence.
