Ekta Kapoor's Vivek Dahiya-Karishma Tanna starrer gets its antagonist!

And he is a very impressive actor.

Recently, reports have been doing the rounds that Ekta Kapoor will soon be producing a 100 episode thriller series, which is an adaptation of Beauty and The Beast, for Star Plus. We already know that she has roped in her Balaji protege Vivek Dahiya, who has been a part of Balaji shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kavach... and Asmita Sood.

However, yesterday, it was reported that Asmita was replaced by Ekta's Naagin 3 actress Karishma Tanna. When we contacted Asmita, she told us that she was yet to communicate with the production team as it had been a while and Karishma Tanna said that she was still in talks and that nothing concrete had materialised.

And while the spot for the female lead is still not finalised, Ekta has roped in her main antagonist and it is none other than actor Nirbhay Wadhwa.

Nirbhay, whose claim to fame was the titular role in Sony TV's Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman, has been roped in to play the main antagonist in Ekta Kapoor's thriller.

We contacted Nirbhay, but he told us that, "Talks are on and nothing has been confirmed yet."

Along with this project, we'd exclusively reported about Nirbhay Wadhwa also bagging the second season of Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman.

Here goes one more case of Nepotism. If Vivek Dahiya wasn't married to Divyanka - he might have not even got a chance to have an longer role in YHM forget about about being lead in Brahmarakshas or what ever other nonsense in future. It disgusts me to watch someone given chance because his partner arm twists EK emotionally to be given more offers. I'm making this claim only after hearing from an person working for the Balaji Telefilms (plz don't ask me the name, I don't want the poor guy to get canned just because I shared from where I had my knowledge from). I've lost all my respect for both DT & VD when I heard mrs.DT's antics first time.

Bhramarakshas was also supposed to inspired by Beauty and the Beast but that show totally turn out to be different and the way Balaji team destroy the show just after 20 episodes. Hope this one will not face the same fate, 100 episode is a long thing. Gripping plot all the way can retain viewers for long.
