Following the resounding success of action-packed blockbusters like Pathaan and Jawan, the anticipation for Dunki has reached a fever pitch among fans. This Rajkumar Hirani-directed comedy-drama, featuring a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kocchar, and Anil Grover, has been generating buzz since its announcement.

While the teaser had already tickled the audience's funny bones, the latest updates surrounding the film have only heightened the excitement.

With the release of the official trailer on December 5, 2023, the anticipation has soared to new heights.

The 3:02-minute trailer opens with Hardy (SRK) narrating his story, set in 1995 in Laltu, Punjab. The narrative revolves around his four friends with dreams of relocating to London—Balli, a barber; Buggu (Vikram Kochchar), owner of a clothing shop; Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal), passionate about speaking English; and Manu (Taapsee Pannu), willing to fight the world for Hardy.

As the story unfolds, we meet Gulati (Boman Irani), who portrays the role of an English teacher. The trailer takes the audience on a roller coaster of laughter, emotions, and drama as the group aspires to move abroad, with Hardy guiding them through the journey. The film, narrated in flashback, also showcases Shah Rukh Khan in an elderly role.
