Doctor G trailer out: Gynaecologist Ayushmann Khurrana struggles to fit in the world of female doctors

Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the actors who have always been hailed for his unconventional and path-breaking script choices. Looks like Ayushmann is back in his essence with yet another entertaining film subdued with a social message and filled with puns and hilarious moments.

The trailer of his upcoming film Doctor G is out and it promises to take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions, struggles and laughter. In the trailer we see Ayushmann as a gynaecologist who struggles to fit in the female dominated occupation.

While he tries his best to get into some other department of medical, his fate drags him into a class filled with girls and patients who refuse to accept him as a doctor. Rakul Preet Singh plays his fellow classmate who also shares a romantic angle with him. Shefali Shah looks prominent as the head doctor who guides the students.

Sharing the trailer on his social media handle, Ayushmann wrote, "Gynaecology department ki har ek naari, padegi #DoctorG pe bhaari! #DoctorG will attend to you in theatres from 14th October 2022 🩺🗓 #DoctorGTrailer out now!".

Sharing the date with her fans on Instagram, Rakul introduced the character of Doctor Gin a quirky way, “ZindaGihai inki full of Googly. Chahiye tha Orthopedics, par ban gaye DoctorG. Get ready for your appointments, Doctor G will attend to you in theatres from October 14.” 

Doctor G is touted to be a campus comedy-drama produced by Junglee Pictures. It's Ayushmann and Rakul Preet Singh's first collaboration. Shefali Shah also plays a significant role in the film. Doctor G is slated to hit the big screens on 14th October.
