Dhanashree Verma reacts to reports of cheating ex husband Yuzvendra Chahal: 'Main bata dungi na ek ek baat..'

Amid her ongoing appearance on the reality show Rise And Fall, Dhanashree Verma has addressed long-standing rumours surrounding her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. During a casual conversation with co-contestant Arbaz Patel, the topic of alleged infidelity came up — a narrative that has followed Dhanashree in the public eye for months. Reacting to it on the show, she dismissed the claims as “negative PR” and emphasised that the divorce was a closed chapter in her life.

In an unfiltered moment, Arbaz mentioned that he had heard gossip suggesting Dhanashree may have cheated on Chahal. Responding to this, Dhanashree said, “Woh toh failayenge na, faltu baat. Unko darr hai na ke main munh na khol do toh dabayenge na. Main bata doongi na ek-ek baat, aapko yeh show peanuts lagega.”

She continued by calling the ongoing divorce talk fabricated and added, “Yeh sab jo divorce ki baatein chal rahi hain, vo bilkul hi banai gayi cheezein hain. Maine usko already peeche chhod diya hai.”

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal got married in December 2020. After years of public appearances and social media visibility, they filed for divorce and were officially granted separation by mutual consent in February 2025. While neither of them addressed the reasons publicly, speculation and rumours, especially online, continued to stir conversations, often placing Dhanashree at the centre of them.

During the same conversation, Arbaz also casually mentioned that he knows Yuzvendra's current girlfriend, subtly hinting at RJ Mahvash. Dhanashree, however, refrained from commenting on the matter, making it clear she had moved on from that chapter of her life.
