Deepika Padukone planning a long maternity break? Actress won't hire nannies for her baby

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child in September. The actress made the announcement earlier this year. She has taken a break from work after winding up Kalki 2898 AD. It seems Deepika Padukone will take a long break from acting. This is the couple’s first child. She wants to be there for her baby, and nurture it as much as possible. The actress was offered the HBO show The White Lotus but did not take it up. Deepika Padukone has been working since she was 18. This time, the actress wants to be devoted to her role as a mother. 

We have seen how much the actress adores kids. A source told a media outlet that Deepika Padukone is going to be a hands-on mother. It seems the actress could take on all the duties herself so she won’t hire any nannies for the little one. Friends doubt if she will even let Ranveer Singh share any of the parental chores. From posing with her little fans to playing with babies on the sets of reality shows, Deepika Padukone looks really happy with tiny tots. In the past, she said she would like to have three kids. In fact, she said she would take them to shoots with her. 

The couple made the announcement on Instagram with a visual of booties and onesies. Deepika Padukone attended the Jamnagar and Mumbai celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. She wore a gorgeous purple saree for the haldi, and a red salwar kameez for the main wedding day. Both of them were from Torani’s. The actress played Sumathi in Kalki 2898 AD. Fans loved the role and her performance. The scene where she comes out of the tunnel is pretty epic. 

Deepika Padukone rocked a black dress at the press meet of Kalki 2898 AD. Her parents Prakash and Ujjala Padukone are now in Mumbai with her. They attended the Ambani wedding as well. Richa Chadha, Natasa Dalal and Yami Gautam embraced parenthood this year. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the next in line.
