Dasvi song 'Macha Macha Re' is a funky rap with Abhishek Bachchan flaunting his desi swag

The trailer for Dasvi was unveiled a few days ago, and fans are quite enthusiastic for the film, with many giving Abhishek Bachchan's Ganga Ram Chaudhary a lot of love.

It's no surprise that the film's first song depicts Ganga bhaiyya himself, given the level of adoration he receives.

Abhishek Bachchan is in a masala mood in "Macha Macha," as the politician turned prisoner displays a few moves in front of his fellow prison mates. With Abhishek twirling his distinctive moustache in absolute royal swag, the song brilliantly portrays the film's amusing spirit.

The film portrays the story of an uneducated, corrupt, and pompous politician who, while imprisoned, finds the magic of knowledge. A lively verse with a distinct desi flavour adds to the enjoyment of "Macha Macha." The song has a lot of replay potential and has a lot of "mass" appeal.

Sachin-Jigar composed the funky track, and Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics.

Meanwhile, Mika Singh, Divya Kumar, and Sachin-Jigar have contributed vocals to the track, which also features Mellow D's rap. Dasvi seems to be upping our expectations by the day! 

The film has become the talk of the town as it showcases the story of CM Ganga Ram Chaudhary, who is jailed in a teachers' scam and he decides to give the 10th board exams from inside the prison. Yami Gautam, who plays the IPS Officer, creates obstacles in his way, and his wife Nimrat Kaur, takes over his CM chair. How Abhishek battles it all amid prepping for boards is the story of the film.

Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film is backed by Dinesh Vijan and Bake My Cake Films, streaming on Jio Cinema and Netflix from April 7, 2022.
