Darshan Thoogudeepa one of the top stars of the Kannada film industry is under arrest along with his partner, actress Pavithra Gowda. The police has sent them to six days in judicial custody. It is being alleged that Darshan Thoogudeepa roped in a fan club member from Chitradurga to murder Renukaswamy. It seems the victim who worked in Apollo Pharmacy was upset with Pavithra Gowda for ruining the reputation of Darshan Thoogudeepa. As we know, Darshan was earlier married to Vijayalakshmi. In January 2024, Vijayalakshmi threatened legal action on Pavithra Gowda for posting romantic moments with her husband. Pavithra has a teenage daughter Kushi whose biological father is Sanjay Singh. 

It is reported that Renukaswamy had made a fake Instagram account from which he would send lewd and derogatory messages to Pavithra Gowda. A number of his fans were in staunch support of Vijayalakshmi his first wife. It is rumoured that Gowda and he were in a relationship for 10 long years. 

Darshan ordered a hit on Renukaswamy

It seems three people Raghavendra, Karthik and Kesavamurhy admitted to the police that they murdered Renukaswamy and dumped his body. When the cops further questioned them, they said it was done on the behest of actor Darshan and they were given Rs five lakh each. They were also assured of timely legal help. 

Did Pavithra Gowda instigate Darshan to allegedly take such extreme step?

Police sources have told the media that Pavithra Gowda who was livid with the messages allegedly told Darshan to take action on Renukaswamy. It seems he roped in the head of his Chitradurga fan club, Raghavendra to get more information on Renukaswamy. 

Most incriminating evidence on Darshan Thoogudeepa

Renukaswamy’s wife said her husband went missing o June 8, 2024. It seems Raghavendra had abducted him from his home, and taken him to a car shed in Kamakshipalya. The most incriminating evidence is that Darshan’s red jeep has been captured in CCTV footage around 3.30 am at that spot. The kidnappers beat him up, and later Darshan whipped him with a belt. Later, the alleged hired men informed that Renukaswamy had died. 

Darshan Thoogudeepa paid Rs 30 lakh to manage situation?

It seems one of the perpetrators Pradosh allegedly took Rs 30 lakh to manage the matter. The body was found under a bridge in Sumanahalli. After they got the money, they disposed the body and surrendered in front of the cops. They said they had a financial dispute. They got Rs five lakhs. The cops are doing a panchnama to recover the remaining Rs 25 lakh. The Kannada film industry is planning action on Darshan Thoogudeepa.
