#Children's Day Special : The TV shows we loved to watch as kids!

Our childhood had some of the best TV shows of all times. We were free birds with nothing to worry about. Our day consisted of three major things- School, playtime and TV! Let’s take a look at some of the best TV shows that we saw during our childhood!

1. Pokemon!

This 5pm show had to be at the top of our list! We would rush from school to watch this show! Awesomeness level of this show is just too awesome to describe!

2. Beyblade.

This show aired right after pokemon at 5:30 pm and was a major hit! Beyblade sales were at peak in toy shops as well! We stole utensils from our homes to play Beyblade!

3. Shaka Laka Boom Boom.

The magic pencil was the dream of every kid on the block. Imagine a pencil that could create everything that you drew! The Shaka laka pencils were a big hit at the market and we still get to see some of them around!

4. Shararat.

During the 90's, magic and visual effects were the only things needed to attract kids. Sharrarat, was one of the most successful shows that was ever telecast. We loved the way Jiya used her magic to solve all her problems and how it would lead to another ones.

5. Power Puff Girls!

“aur galti se usme gir gaya CHEMICAL X!” this show was just superb! Even though, it was originally targeted to girls, this show attracted a large number of boys as well.

6. Karishma ka karishma.

The Hindi adaptation of 'Small Wonder' was just as amazing as its American sister. It was launched at the time, when science fiction was an unexplored genre in India, and became an instant hit among the kids.

7. Son Pari.

Imagine, how great life would be if we had a fairy watching over us and taking us to different realms that are even more beautiful. Son pari looked fabulous in her golden angel like outfit. She became every kid's dream fantasy, overnight!

8. Dexters Laboratory.

Dexter was the best invention ever! All the episodes of Dexter had something new and who could forget Dee-Dee!

9. Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai.

Sarabhai is no doubt the most entertaining sit-com ever made in India. It stands strong, in comparison to other international sit-coms. This show had such great content and could be enjoyed by people of all ages.

10. Scooby Dooby Doo!

Who doesn’t like Scooby! This talking dog detective was one of our absolute favourites! All the amazing mysteries and the spooky nightmares this show gave us! #nostalgia
