Designer Anavila Misra's work is much celebrated by the elite's of the industry for her innovative hand-loom textiles and also for reviving the linen saris. Last week, when the designer unveiled her flagship store called Anavila in Mumbai, all the glamorous puss of B-town showed up in their best hand-looms from the designer. And the first to make the gorgeous entry was our favorite style Goddess Sonam Kapoor.
Sonam, who inevitably emerges looking stunning at all the events, was the first to arrive at the launch. She was seen at her traditional best at the launch and looked every bit gorgeous in the ivory cotton sari and printed full sleeve blouse.
Staying loyal to her quirky sartorial choice, Kiran showed up in a cotton peach color drape and a pretty floral blouse. Kiran who never fails to surprise us with her looks, decided to surprise us yet again.
Yes. She was seen sporting two different pairs of glasses. If asked to choose, we would prefer the plain glasses on her.
OMG ! The Producer Ashvini Yardi attended the launch looking elegant in a peach sari and steel grey blouse. Love the choice of her accessories.
While Maria Goretti's printed sari was very pretty, we wish she had teamed it with a better crop top.
Imran Khan's wife Avantika Malik should not have shown-up in a sky blue sari or at-least if she really had to, she should have hired a hair-stylist and worn some jewelery too.
Actress Mini Mathur was seen at the launch making a good case of accessorizing B&W (Black-And-White) outfits with a bright color.
With a waterfall front drape, Sayani Gupta made her stylish presence felt by breaking the monotony of Nivi and Bengali Atpoure style sari drapes at the launch.
Critically acclaimed actress Swara Bhaskar, was seen at the launch wearing lovely gold jewelery which perfectly complemented her bright red Bengali Atpoure style draped hand-loom.
Tisca Chopra gave a good spin to her traditional outfit just with a pair of quirky sunglasses.
