As we know, scandals in Korea can break any idol or actor’s career no matter how successful you are. BTS rapper, song producer, composer and lyric-writer Min Yoongi aka SUGA was embroiled in a minor legal matter after he fell off an electric scooter near his apartment complex in Seoul. It seems he was somewhat drunk on a day when he had an off from public duty. As we know, he is serving in the Korean Police Force. An investigation was launched into the matter, the results of which have not been made public so far. He had to present himself for investigation before the police station. 

BTS rapper SUGA’s incident got wide coverage on national and international media. JTBC has run into trouble after it aired a coverage that was not of SUGA on national news. The footage showed a man on an electric scooter on what looked like a main road. BTS member SUGA aka Min Yoongi’s name has been removed from Fan Star and TMA. These are local Korean rating platforms for musicians. This has bothered ARMYs immensely. Support trucks for Min Yoongi aka SUGA are being sent in front of HYBE from all over the world.

Indian BTS fans have raised close to Rs 85K for a support truck for Min Yoongi aka SUGA. Fans from different nations have sent such support campaigns for him. The Philippines BTS ARMY was one of the first to do so. In nations of South America, there are support billboards at main roads to show love to the Daechwita singer. While he has maintained a low profile, his friend El Capitxn hinted that he is aware of the love. 

The Mumbai fandom of BTS did a campaign at a hotel in the city. Around 150 members gathered for the same. It was a Purple Ribbon project to show solidarity with Min Yoongi aka SUGA. Fans are worried about how he is managing his emotions in such a tough situation. The rapper and composer is one of the pillars of BTS. Some even demanded that he leave BTS but the outpour of support has overshadowed the hate and abuse thrown at him.
