Debutant filmmaker Suman Gangul, who is all set with his film "Blue Mountains", says it's a musical entertainer which emphasises on the importance of parenting styles and family values.
"The film portrays the issues that adolescents face all across the globe - be it in England or in India," Ganguli told IANS.
"It emphasises on the importance of parenting styles, family values and how peers and teachers play an equally significant role in shaping a person's life and future. It also gives out a very important lesson for youngsters on how to deal with success and failure," he added
Produced by Sarju Kumaar Acharjee and Rajesh Kumar Jain under the banners Jeevandhara Productions Private Limited and Krish Movies, the film is slated to release in mid-2015.
The movie stars child actor Yatharth Rastogi.
Explaining the reason behind casting the "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2009" winner, Ganguli said: "Because the film is about a singer, we needed somebody who could actually sing. Yatharth is the perfect choice for the character and he played it with the right vigour."
Yatharth had to undergo six months of rigorous acting workshop for the movie.
Other actors in the film include Gracy Singh, Ranvir Shorey, Rajpal Yadav, Arif Zakaria, Mahesh Thakur and Amit Behl, who are "just brilliant in their nuanced performances", the director added.
