In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, a misunderstanding unfolded that has garnered significant attention both inside and outside the house. The incident began when Sai Ketan Rao, known for his respectful and considerate nature, offered a massage to fellow housemate Chandrika, who was complaining about pain in her left arm. Sai's gesture, intended purely as an act of kindness, was unfortunately perceived differently by Chandrika. She subsequently informed other housemates that Sai’s offer was inappropriate, sparking a debate within the house.
While the situation caused a stir among the contestants, it also caught the attention of Sai Ketan Rao's best friend, Shivangi Khedkar. Shivangi, who has been following the show, took to Twitter to express her dismay over how the incident was portrayed in some media articles.
In her defence for Sai, Shivangi tweeted: “I do not like to speak about what happens inside Bigg Boss because I am very well aware that the situation that they are in is very different from the outside world.
I’m highly upset with the misrepresentation of a situation in a few articles about Sai. I think there is nothing else that their PR team has to write for their artist and hence they chose this because maybe this works for them to get their artist in limelight.
Sadly, taking a massage or giving massage is taken as a sign of flirt/tease/act of bad behavior. But HE SAW HER IN PAIN AND LIKE A TRUE GENTLEMAN/HUMAN BEING HE OFFERED HELP to simply make her feel better! Soch badalna jaruri hai. Not just Sai, I speak for every man inside the house. I don’t think those men are what some foolish PR team is trying to show of them. I see so much respect given to each woman in the house by each and every guy inside. Wanna proudly say I am in this era where boys were raised so well.
(P.S: Public relations (PR) refers to managing how others see and feel about your artist. Clearly not sabotaging someone else’s image.)”
Shivangi's strong statement highlights the often challenging dynamics within the Bigg Boss house and the scrutiny contestants face. Her words also underscore the importance of understanding and compassion, reminding us that gestures of kindness can sometimes be misinterpreted, especially in a high-pressure environment like Bigg Boss.
Sai Ketan Rao's actions, driven by a genuine desire to help, reflect his true character. It is essential to recognize and respect such gestures for what they are—acts of humanity. As the debate continues, fans and viewers are encouraged to look beyond sensationalized portrayals and appreciate the nuanced reality of life inside the Bigg Boss house.
