Bigg Boss 19, with its unique theme of “Gharwalo Ki Sarkaar”, has already become the talk of the town for its intense drama, emotional revelations, and candid conversations. One such moment recently came when popular digital star Awez Darbar opened up about his personal journey, sharing why he decided to step into the Bigg Boss house despite enjoying massive popularity outside.
During a lighthearted conversation with the housemates, music composer Amaal Mallik teased Awez about his massive online following. This sparked a heartfelt response from Awez, who shared how tough his road to success actually was.
Awez revealed that reaching the milestone of 30 million followers was anything but easy. “To get to 30 million followers, I was shooting non-stop, all day, every day. Sometimes, I would post multiple videos in a single day. I hardly came home, and my parents were worried because they rarely saw me. It was like a constant chase,” he explained.
The social media star admitted that the struggle took a toll on him. He confessed that at one point, he felt completely drained and tired of repeating the same cycle. “I had achieved that number, but I wanted something more—something that could challenge me in a new way. That’s when I thought of Bigg Boss,” Awez said, adding that the show had always fascinated him as a platform where real personalities come forward.

According to him, Bigg Boss is not just another project—it is a life-changing experience. “It’s the reality show I’ve always felt could push me beyond my comfort zone and show people a side of me they’ve never seen before,” he shared with the contestants, receiving nods of agreement from the housemates.
Awez further said that his journey as a creator had taught him qualities like resilience, patience, and determination—traits he believed would help him survive and thrive in the high-pressure atmosphere of the Bigg Boss house. He expressed that while the digital world gave him recognition, he was eager for people to see his raw, unfiltered side beyond the curated content.
Echoing Awez’s thoughts, Amaal Mallik praised him for his honesty and dedication, calling Bigg Boss “the biggest reality show in India.” His comment highlighted how the platform continues to attract not just television celebrities but also social media stars who wish to test themselves in new and unpredictable ways.
With Awez opening up about his struggles and reasons for joining, Bigg Boss 19 promises to offer viewers more than just drama—it’s also about real stories of hard work, ambition, and stepping outside one’s comfort zone.
