Bigg Boss 18: Sara Arfeen Khan hopes to have a journey like Shehnaaz Gill on Salman Khan's show

Sara Arfeen Khan is making a comeback on TV with Bigg Boss 18. This season, she is going inside with her husband Arfeen Khan. Talking to us, Sara said, “My husband and I like to try new things. When this show came to us, we were like okay let’s do it. Also, my children are five now. If they were younger, I would not have left them. They are more independent now. They will be staying with my mother. It just felt like the right time to do the show.” So, is Sara Khan and her husband a regular viewer of Bigg Boss. “I have not watched much of the seasons. However, I did watch the whole Bigg Boss 13 season before I came in. It was a blockbuster season and the best one in recent years.” 

She said they were offered the show as a couple and she preferred it that way. When we told her about the how Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla and Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain ended up fighting in the earlier seasons, she said, “Everybody has been talking about that. I have not watched the seasons but I heard it was bad.” But she said as a couple this a great chance to test their equation in a different format. Sara told us, “If you feel you are in comfort zone, you need to take on new tests, then this is a great chance. You go there and face the challenges.”

Sara Arfeen Khan said she loved the journey of Shehnaz Gill. “I loved how unfiltered, real and pure she was on the show. She was true to herself, and the audience. I loved this aspect and would love to have that kind of a journey. 

Sara Arfeen Khan says she told their kids, that they would bring home the trophy. It seems they are fascinated with trophies and told their parents to compete whole-heartedly. 

She also said that she is excited about Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan. Sara Arfeen Khan said, “Apart from being shouted and told off, I am looking forward to his insights as what he says is always with a pure heart. He says it is for your benefit.” She believes the biggest strength of the couple is that they like to live in the present, and make the most of it.
