Bigg Boss 14: Nikki Tamboli feels Rubina Dilaik deserved to win, talks about people she'd be in touch

Bigg Boss 14 contestant Nikki Tamboli, not only became the first finalist but was also the first confirmed contestant and from that, she has come a long way as she made it to the top 3 this season. Nikki got talking about her journey, the friendships, and more in a recent conversation with India-Forums.

Tell us about your journey and how does it feel to come this far?

I want to thank all the audiences as this was unbelievable and my Bigg Boss journey was absolutely magical, I never thought I would reach so far. When you are inside the house, you never know the kind of fan following you enjoy, how many people are rooting for you. When I came to Bigg Boss 14, no one knew me but when I was told that I became popular in the very second week, I feel very blessed and happy.

Your journey ended earlier because of votes and now, you made it to the top 3. 

I feel good for myself and I do feel sad for him (Aly Goni). It is all the doing of the fans, because they have been fighting for me, and had it not been for them, I wouldn't have been here so I just want to thank them for all the love and support.

Which journey do you like more, pre-eviction or post?

I would say the one before eviction because post my return, I myself began to feel that my game is getting weaker and I am losing my self-confidence, so obviously I liked the journey before eviction better.

A lot has been said about your friendship with Rubina Dilaik. So what do you have to say?

Of course, I never made any friendships because of the game, any person that I liked, I maintained my friendship and those who I did not like, I did not even speak to them. Earlier, I did not like Rubina and we barely used to talk, I used to annoy her but when I spent time with her, I saw how she is a sweetheart and she took care of me like a mother. Even when I fell ill, she used to take care of me like a sister/mother, and she is an absolutely caring and loving person, and she has won the show today.

She won the show, how does it feel?

I am very happy because after me if there is anyone who I see win the show, she was none other than Rubina, I can't express my happiness in words.

Your current equation with Rahul Vaidya?

The relationship hasn't changed, but our friendship was on and off so if he calls me to his wedding, then the friendship will continue (laughs).

You've often been called 'badttameez'. What do you have to say?

If 10-15 people are locked in one house, it is not possible that they get along well with everyone and I was younger, so somewhere or the other, I did end up speaking wrongful things but in real life, no one will fight with you this manner. Inside the house, things are different, and because of that, the focus did come on me way too often.

If there is one thing you could fix, what would it be?

I misbehaved a lot with Eijaz and Jaan, and if those moments I can change, I will definitely do that.

Who will we see you continue to be in touch with?

Jaan, Rubina, Abhinav, and Rahul Mahajan are people I will be friends with. In addition, Shardul Pandit and Naina are also two people I would like to be in touch with.
