Zee TV has been a trendsetter in shaping television content over the past three decades. Having narrated several such tales that have resonated beautifully with audiences across India, Zee TV recently launched a new show – ‘Maitree’ with Sunshine Productions. Set against the backdrop of Prayagraj, the show focuses on the exciting yet dramatic journey of Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) and her soul sister, Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary). The two best friends have been inseparable since their childhood. While they are sure that nothing can break their friendship and that they will remain the best of friends even after marriage, it seems that life has its own plan for them and they are drifting apart under the most unusual circumstances.
While all the actors go through various preparations, trials, and mock shoots to get into the character they play, Bhaweeka Chaudhary is bending over backward to do justice to her character, Nandini. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will get to witness that Nandini will get married to Ashish (Namish Taneja) and soon after that will get pregnant with his baby. To give authenticity to the scene, Bhaweeka is shooting with a prosthetic baby bump every day and since putting on the same takes hours, it becomes cumbersome for the person. However, regardless of the discomfort and long hours of the shoot, actress Bhaweeka has been pulling off every scene effortlessly.

As Bhaweeka Chaudhary mentioned, “To be honest, it is not very comfortable to shoot with a prosthetic baby bump, because it takes a lot of time to fix the bump and with someone's help only it can be removed as well. In fact, this is the first time I am playing the role of a pregnant woman, so I wasn’t really sure how I would feel or look with it. But, doing such meaningful scenes is really helping me to get into the skin of my character and hone my acting skills. It’s altogether a very unique experience and I can only wonder how it feels in real life. My team and I are very excited to see the response of the viewers for each scene we shoot and for that we are working round the clock and giving our best to entertain the audience.”
While Bhaweeka is having a gala time shooting as a pregnant Nandini, it will be interesting to watch the journey of these two best friends and to know the real reason for them drifting apart.
