Bharti Singh Reveals She Was Drinking Alcohol Before Learning Her 7 Weeks Pregnancy

Bharti Singh’s son Gola, also known as Laksh, is a well-known figure. The charming 2-year-old has captured hearts through his mother’s YouTube vlogs. Surprisingly, Bharti was unaware of her pregnancy for seven weeks when she conceived Gola.

The actress-comedian spilled the beans in a recent chat, sharing that she was partying and having a drink when she discovered she was pregnant. Bharti opened up to ETimes about why she rang up Kapil Sharma's wife Ginni upon seeing the positive pregnancy test.

“We were partying and drinking beer and I saw there was one pregnancy strip lying around. I thought of checking it. I did a test in the morning and went back to sleep. After a few hours, I saw two lines and showed Haarsh. He was in disbelief. Then I called Kapil Bhai’s wife Ginni. Then I got a blood test done and the doctor told me I was 7 weeks pregnant. I said I was drinking and he said everything would stop. And instantly you become a mother and you keep touching your belly to protect your baby,” Bharti said.

Bharti Singh also spilled the beans on how Haarsh stood by her side during her pregnancy, sharing that he was the driving force behind her decision to continue working throughout those 9 months. “During pregnancy, if your husband puts the blame on you saying that if something happens to the baby it will be your responsibility, then a woman will sit at home scared. But if he says, don’t worry nothing will happen go for a shoot, you get that positive strength. Achha pati, achha dost milna bahut zaroori hai,” she shared.

Bharti Singh, who tied the knot with Haarsh Limbachiyaa, embraced parenthood with the arrival of their first child in April 2022. Reflecting on the impact Gola has had on her life, the Laughter Chefs host expressed, "I get very emotional. Only I know my child’s language. I want another kid and until I have a second baby, I will keep crying mujhe bachha chahiye.”
