Badshah expresses desire to end his longstanding feud with Yo Yo Honey Singh

Badshah recently shared his thoughts on ending the long-standing feud with fellow rapper Honey Singh. He described the issue as a mental burden influenced by external pressures and subconscious thoughts, which had weighed on him for years. Despite not making any prior efforts to resolve the matter, Badshah took the first step towards peace during an event in Dehradun. However, Honey Singh, in a later interview, made it clear that he has no plans to collaborate with Badshah in the future.

During the Dehradun event, Badshah openly addressed the audience, acknowledging that the feud had caused him unnecessary stress. He revealed that he had been carrying this emotional baggage for over a decade, holding onto unresolved feelings. In a candid conversation on the YouTube channel Prakhar ke Pravachan, Badshah shared how he decided to let go of the old grudge for his mental peace. He realized that continuing to hold onto something from the past was no longer serving him.

Badshah further explained that he is not someone who usually harbors grudges. He found it strange that he had clung to this particular issue for so long. He suggested that external influences and subconscious factors might have played a role in prolonging the feud. "This is for my mental peace and the greater vision I have for myself as an artist. Subliminal shots are part of the culture, but to give it so much importance, you shouldn’t do it," Badshah expressed.

He also shared that while the feud initially gave him some motivation, it later became a negative force, affecting both his present and future. He described the situation as something like a "tumor" that needed to be removed. Badshah has now moved past most of the psychological impact and made up his mind to leave the issue behind, for his own good.

At the Dehradun event in May, Badshah paused his performance to talk about the past. He admitted to holding a grudge against Honey Singh but emphasized that it was time to move on. He said that too many people were trying to create division rather than heal relationships. After the event, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to reaffirm his commitment to moving forward in a positive way.

Meanwhile, Yo Yo Honey Singh, in a recent interview with The Lallantop, spoke about the possibility of collaborating with Raftaar and Badshah. While he expressed openness to working with Raftaar and other artists like Lil Golu and Ikka, Honey Singh made it clear that no collaboration with Badshah is planned. When asked about Badshah, Honey Singh said, "Naarazgi apno se hoti hai, paraayo se nahi.. Client se nahi."
