Committed to her family's welfare, Baani's life takes a dramatic turn when she intervenes to protect a bride at a wedding, resulting in false accusations and her unjust imprisonment. After securing bail, Baani faces pressure from her father to marry.

A matchmaker presents Rajat (Aakash Ahuja) as a potential suitor. Initially thinking Rajat is affluent, Baani worries about the wedding costs. Upon discovering his actual financial status, she expresses her concerns, catching Rajat off guard. Although Baani briefly leaves Khanna House, she returns at her parents' insistence. As she adjusts to their different lifestyles, Baani struggles to secure a new job and handle issues with her boss.
