When Maharashtra is undergoing serious water issues with droughts in major places, it is very important that water conservation is taken up seriously by everyone.
Baaghi, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor has a rain song and a couple of rain sequences too.
So, makers Sajid Nadiadwala and Sabbir Khan were extremely sensitive about the issue following which they instructed the entire team that gallons of water should not be wasted to shoot these sequences for the film.
On the other hand, they did not even want to compromise on the creativity of the film and give the film whatever it required.
They have shot most of the song and the rain sequences in natural rain.
When they were shooting in Kerala, the rain showers were quite good over there and that's when they decided to shoot the rain song and the rain sequence so as to avoid wasting so much water later.
The entire team was very clear that there is no other way to do it but with natural rain. The natural rain added to the shots too giving it the real effect.
It did require a couple of extra days from the cast and crew but they achieved what they wanted to. Everyone was very happy with the final outcome and also glad that nature was pretty much on their side by pouring whenever required.
