Ayushmann Khurrana is well known for his offbeat films in Bollywood. The actor has been impressing the audience since his debut in Bollywood with the film Vicky Donor. With two big hits last year, the actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Article 15.
And now according to reports in Mumbai Mirror, Ayushmann is reuniting with his Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017) producer Aanand L Rai to make the sequel of the film called Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
While the first film, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, was based on the subject of erectile dysfunction, the sequel will feature a gay love story from a small town. The film, which will kick-off in the last week of August, will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule. Makers are targeting an early 2020 release.

The source added, "It revolves around how a conservative family comes to terms with the fact that their son is gay. The humour is situational."
Talking to the daily, Anand said, "The Shubh Mangal Saavdhan franchise is our tribute to the churning that keeps our society alive. Every instalment will deal with a topic that touches every person but no one wants to speak about it publicly. Like the first film, this one too will broach a taboo subject with great sensitivity and light humour. I anticipate a lot of conversations and cheer around the second film too."
Along with this film, Ayushmann will also be seen in Bala and Dream Girl. Ayushmann will be seen as a small-town guy in Bala who is dealing with premature balding. The film also features Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam and will be directed by Amar Kaushik, who helmed Rajkummar Rao's Stree.
Stay tuned for more updates.
