The very versatile Ayushmann Khurrana shared a glimpse of his singing talent as he paid a soulful musical tribute to legend Kishore Kumar. Today, on Kishore Da's death anniversary, the actor crooned to his iconic song O Maanjhi R e as a loving tribute.
“Posting a #Throwback video on Kishore da’s death anniversary. Kaagazo ki kashtio ka kahi kinara hota nahi. Koi kinara jo kinare se mile wo apna kinara hai" he wrote as he shared the video.

“When you look back to his film Half Ticket, in the song Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe - he sang in both male and female voices! Not many know this but the fact that he could pull it off with ease, made me confident that I could do Dream Girl. I drew courage from this because I had a reference point in Kishore Kumar, who pulled it off,” Ayushmann told ANI.
The actor also speaks very highly of the singing legend as he calls him his inspiration. He also shares that everytime he faces a creative block, he thinks of Kishore Da to revive from the situation.
On the work front, Ayushmann is prepping well for Abhishek Kapoor's next co starring Vaani Kapoor.He plays a cross functional athlete in the film and has started physical transformation for the same.
