Ayushamann Khurrana and Nushratt Bharuccha's Dream Girl was one of the most loved films of 2019. In the film, the Article 15 star played a cross-gender actor whose female voice impersonation begets attention from others. While rumours and speculation regarding a second installment were rampant on social media, Balaji Motion Pictures finally put an end to it by confirming the movie and its release date.
Ektaa R Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Raaj Shandilya reunite for Dream Girl 2, and this time with Ananya Panday joining the bandwagon. The makers have dropped a teaser giving a sneak peek into the second part of the Dream Girl Franchise, which is all set for a worldwide release on June 29th, 2023.
Sharing the video on his Instagram wrote,
"Aapki Dream Girl phir se aa rahi hai, miliye Pooja se 29th June 2023 ki Eid par ❤️#DreamGirl2 in cinemas on 29th June 2023."
In the film, Ayushmann will reprise as Pooja and the effervescent Ananya Panday will play his lady love. A remarkable group of performers with perfect comedic timing, includes Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee, will join the main duo.
Ayushmann Khurrana plays Karam, a lad from a small town who is attempting to live a serious life in Mathura and falls in love with Pari (played by Ananya Panday), but life is hellbent on not taking him seriously. Dream Girl 2 follows Karam's journey. In a twist of fate, Karam changes into Pooja, adding further confusion to his already crazy life.

Another flop from Bollywood. Ayushmann Khurana needs to start playing more masculine roles. Anek was a good attempt. He needs to do more like that. Ananya Panday is gonna make this movie a flop.
