Ayan Mukerji reshot 'Brahmastra' after getting ideas from SS Rajamouli's father, says Ranbir Kapoor

After a lengthy delay, the creators of 'Brahmastra' are finally ready to release the film this year. The fantasy drama's lead actors are Bollywood's most loved duo Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The teaser for the film was revealed yesterday, and people are already obsessed with it.

On Tuesday, Ranbir and Ayan, together with SS Rajamouli, began promoting the film in Vizag. During a media interview, the Bollywood actor said that Ayan forced them to reshoot 'Brahmastra' for four days after getting advice from SS Rajamouli's father, KV Vijayendra Prasad. According to him, this is because Ayan holds him in high regard and they are all appreciative for his role to the film's creation.

'Brahmastra' is a mythology-based fantasy trilogy starring Ranbir and Alia as Shiva and Isha, respectively. Professor Arvind Chaturvedi is played by Amitabh Bachchan, and Ajay Vashisht is played by Nagarjuna. While Damayanti is the name of Mouni's character.

This is the first time Ranbir and Alia will appear onscreen together in a film. The movie is finally due to release in theatres on September 9, 2022, after repeated delays.

Apart from this, Ranbir also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ co-starring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna. He is also a part of Luv Ranjan’s untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor.

The Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani actor is also awaiting the release of ‘Shamshera’ which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
