Arjun Rampal and (Ex) wife Mehr Jesia Rampal were married for more than two decades, but last year, the tides turned and somehow their relationship was in danger. Back in May 2018, the duo decided to get separated from their long and healthy marriage.
Now, a family court in Bandra has finally granted a divorce to Arjun and Mehr by mutual consent under the Special Marriage Act.
The duo had applied for a divorce on April 30, 2019, and six months later their marriage has been dissolved by Principal Judge Shailaja Sawant under the Special Marriage Act.
In a previous statement, the current ex-couple had stated:
We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth. We have always been solid when it has come to us, we will continue to be solid for each other and our loved ones, as we embark upon a new journey.

When asked about his relationship with South African model Gabriella Demetriades and his baby boy Arik, Mumbai Mirror quoted the actor saying, “Why would I want to talk about it? Why is it anyone’s business? I don’t want to talk about it.”
Fight for Custody: Mahikaa and Myra Rampal
It's very rare that the father is granted custody of his children and this case was no different. While some may have thought that Rampal was to receive the custody, his current relationship with Gabriella Demetriades and being a father to a newborn son seems to have rubbished all the possibilities.
While the exact terms of the divorce are yet to be known, the couple’s two daughters will reside with their mother at their duplex in Bandra.
