Arjun Rampal calls cheating an 'Addiction,' stresses importance of Monogamy

Arjun Rampal recently opened up about his views on relationships, calling cheating an “addiction” and emphasizing the importance of loyalty. The actor, known for films like Rock On and Om Shanti Om, shared his thoughts in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube channel.

Rampal, who has been a prominent figure in Bollywood, discussed the concept of casual sex and open relationships. He highlighted that sexual relationships involve a significant “energy exchange” between partners. According to Rampal, this exchange affects not just the present but also leaves a mark on one’s being.

“I love sex,” Rampal admitted with a laugh. “It’s a very important part of life, but being with one partner is even more crucial.” He explained that sharing intimacy with someone means absorbing their energy, which influences your own life and well-being. “When you’re physically close with someone, you don’t realize it, but there’s a huge energy shift. It affects your DNA.”

Addressing the issue of infidelity, Rampal labeled it as an addiction. He said that people who cheat often consider it as a mere fling or something trivial, but he believes it’s much more serious. “It’s an addiction,” Rampal said. “People create this habit for themselves. Even if they’re in a happy marriage, they still seek other partners. This isn’t just nothing; it pulls you down.”

Rampal also touched on the importance of self-forgiveness and personal growth. He shared his own experience of being hard on himself in the past. “I wasted a lot of time beating myself up over mistakes,” he confessed. Instead of dwelling on past errors, Rampal encouraged making positive changes and learning from those experiences.
