Anupamaa’s Nidhi Shah, aka Kinjal, Reflects on Her Journey and Bids Emotional Farewell - Watch Video

Nidhi Shah, known for playing Kinjal in Star Plus' hit series Anupamaa, has announced her departure from the show after four and a half years. Following in the footsteps of Gaurav Sharma and Nishi Saxena, Nidhi shared her decision through a heartfelt video on her Instagram. This video featured a compilation of her memorable moments from the show, highlighting her journey. In her post, she expressed her feelings about leaving a significant part of her life behind.

With deep emotion, Nidhi stated, “With a Heavy Heart, I Say Goodbye to Kinju baby aka Kinjal. After four and a half unforgettable years, it's time for me to bid farewell to my beloved character, Kinjal, and the phenomenal show, Anupamaa." She added, "This journey has been beyond anything I could have ever imagined." Grateful for her time on the show, she acknowledged the incredible experience of being part of such a successful series on Indian television.

Nidhi expressed her gratitude to everyone involved, saying, "I am immensely grateful to God and to Anupamaa's visionary creator, @rajan.shahi.543, for trusting me with this role." She appreciated her producer, co-actors, and the entire team for their unwavering support and contributions to her memorable experience. "It's never easy to say goodbye, and with a heavy heart, I leave behind a piece of myself in Anupamaa."

Once she posted the video, her co-stars flooded the comments section with love and admiration. Paras Kalnawat and Aashish Mehrotra, her former co-stars, praised her warmly. Additionally, her current colleagues and friends from the industry also shared their good wishes for her next chapter.

As a side note, Anupamaa is set to undergo a generation leap, leading many cast members to exit the show. However, original stars Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna remain, joined by new leads Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen.
