Anupamaa: Titu's past is revealed, leaving Dimple petrified

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Sushma confronts Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey) about why he brought her to the Shah house. Vanraj stops her from leaving and reveals that Titu (Kunwar Amarjeet Singh)is not actually an orphan, introducing her to the Shahs as Titu's mother. However, Sushma denies knowing Titu. Vanraj insists that she attend Titu's wedding, but Sushma refuses to acknowledge Titu. Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) questions Titu about hiding Sushma's identity, prompting Vanraj to urge Titu to tell the truth.

Titu admits that he tried to tell Dimple (Nishi Saxena) the truth but couldn't. Vanraj accuses Titu of lying, while Titu insists Vanraj is mistaken. Anupama presses Titu for the truth about Sushma. Sushma steps in to defend Titu, explaining that she asked him to keep her identity a secret. Leela accuses Titu of deception. Anupama asks Vanraj to give Titu and Sushma a chance to explain. Vanraj, however, curses Titu and claims he has been gathering evidence against him to stop Dimple's wedding. Hasmuk demands that Vanraj reveal the full truth, leading Vanraj to declare that Titu is a criminal. Titu angrily denies it.

Vanraj slaps Titu:

Anupama urges Vanraj to explain everything, and Vanraj reveals that Sushma has been in prison for 15 years, presenting proof to the stunned Shahs. He then reveals that Titu's father is deceased and that Sushma killed him and has been incarcerated since. Titu confirms this but defends his mother. Sushma pleads with Vanraj not to punish Titu. Vanraj questions Titu about hiding the truth and cancels Dimple and Titu's wedding.

Vanraj loses trust in Titu, who insists Sushma is not a murderer and demands respect for her. Vanraj slaps Titu, prompting Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupama to intervene. Hasmuk stops the fight, and Anupama demands Titu explain himself to Dimple. Dimple gives Titu a chance to share his side. Sushma urges Titu to tell the truth, leading Titu to reveal that his father tried to kill him, and with no other option, Sushma killed him to protect Titu. Vanraj refuses to believe this, but Sushma stands by Titu and apologises on his behalf. She asks the Shahs not to punish Titu, but Vanraj tells them to leave.
