Anupamaa: Shruti grows restless thinking about Anuj and Anupama

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Kavya (Madalsa Sharma) inquires if Dimple (Nishi Saxena) wants to apply a mixture of sugar and lemon to her mehndi. Titu then asks Kavya if he can assist Dimple. Dimple then urges Titu to finish his conversation, noting they are alone. Titu struggles to reveal his past. When Dimple spots Vanraj, she leaves, leaving Titu to ponder his inability to confess. Vanraj notices Titu's nervousness and inquires why he is sweating. Titu offers a flimsy excuse. Vanraj questions Titu's involvement with lemon and sugar, and Titu explains the common belief that this mixture deepens the mehndi colour. Vanraj advises Titu to continue his efforts, warning he might lose Dimple. This leaves Titu anxious. Meanwhile, Anuj feels remorseful about his argument with Vanraj, but Anupama reassures him not to dwell on it. Anupama spots a lizard and becomes anxious about it potentially contaminating the food. Elsewhere, Kinjal scolds Paritosh for his lack of courtesy, confronting him about his rude behaviour towards Anuj.

Shruti grows anxious:

Anupama feels uneasy. Kinjal inquires if she is okay since Anuj's arrival and Anupama confirms she is fine. Shruti is delighted when Aadhya calls and sends photos. She contemplates calling her but decides to wait. She tries to divert her thoughts from Anuj and Anupama by focusing on Aadhya being with Anuj and Anupama's presence as well.

Anupama notices Pakhi and encourages her to be cheerful as there's a wedding at home. Pakhi retorts that unlike Anupama, who caused others grief and still showed up, she could have gotten married too if her family cared. Anupama reminds Pakhi of her elopement and troubled marriage with Adhik, urging her to find happiness in others' joy to gain her own.The mehendi artist asks for Anupama's husband's name. Vanraj suggests Anuj, urging Anupama to have his name written. Ansh offers to design Anupama's mehendi, which includes Anuj's name, making Anupama emotional. Aadhya gets upset and demands the mehendi be wiped off, but Anuj calms her, explaining Ansh's intentions. Anupama washes her hand, but the name remains. Vanraj mocks her, but she warns him against misbehaving in front of the kids.

Shruti notices Anuj's name on Anupama's hand:

Shruti waits for Aadhya's call. When Shruti calls, Devika, applying mehendi to her, asks her to wait until the design is done. Aadhya calls and shows her hand design to Shruti. Seeing Anupama nearby, Aadhya suggests Shruti get a designer mehendi from India. Anupama saves Aadhya from touching a hot bulb, prompting Anuj to caution her to be careful. Anupama greets Shruti, who notices Anuj's name on Anupama's hand. Anupama apologises, explaining that Ansh wrote it mistakenly. Shruti acknowledges it as a mistake. Everyone looks on.

In the precap, Devika questions Anupama about her feelings for Anuj, asking if she still loves him. Anupama confesses she loves him deeply but believes they cannot be together as Anuj belongs to someone else and she feels she belongs to no one. Anuj overhears this and, in anguish, shouts his love for Anupama while sitting on the road. Devika prays for them to have another chance.
