Anupamaa: Sagar falsely takes an oath on Anupama, denying anything beyond friendship with Meenu

Star Plus' Anupamaa continues to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline. Following a six-month leap, viewers are treated to the much-anticipated reunion of Anuj, Anupamaa, and Adhya. However, the spotlight has now shifted to Vanraj's sudden disappearance and the ensuing fraud accusations against him.

In Vanraj's absence, Meenu and Sagar have grown closer, a development that unsettles Toshu and Pakhi. With Vanraj gone, Toshu and Pakhi decide to call Meenu’s mother, Dolly, back to India in a bid to intervene in their budding romance, leaving the future of Meenu and Sagar's relationship hanging in the balance.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Meenu walks down the hall, mumbling to herself, frustrated by how everyone seems to reveal their true colors now that Vanraj is gone. She regrets not staying in Russia for her internship. Suddenly, Dolly appears, swinging her purse. Meenu is taken aback when Dolly insists on dropping her off, irritated by the constant coddling. Despite Meenu’s protests, Dolly is adamant, telling her that if she doesn’t like it, she can prepare to go back to the U.S. Stunned by Dolly’s anger, Meenu reluctantly agrees.

As they approach the auto where Sagar waits, Dolly scornfully dismisses him, insisting they use Vanraj’s car. Meenu and Sagar exchange helpless glances, knowing their struggle isn’t over. They hold onto hope, each silently vowing to continue fighting for their love despite the obstacles.

At the college, Meenu exits the car, frustrated but determined to face the day. As she turns towards the building, she sees Sagar approaching. They share a brief, longing look before Dolly reappears, her car screeching to a halt. She storms out, accusing Meenu and Sagar of trying to deceive her. Meenu stands up for Sagar, challenging her mother’s prejudices against his profession. Dolly, however, is relentless, warning Sagar to stay away from her daughter and hurling harsh accusations about his intentions.

Just as the arguments and accusations escalate, Anupama arrives, stepping in to stop Dolly’s outburst. Anupama defends Sagar, insisting that a friendship between a boy and a girl doesn’t always imply something more. Dolly, undeterred, accuses Anupama of interfering and threatens to be even more ruthless than Vanraj in her fury. After dragging Meenu away, Dolly leaves, while Anupama stands in shock, processing the confrontation.

Panicked, Sagar lies to Anupama, swearing that they are just friends and taking a false oath in his desperation. Anupama remains silent and walks away, leaving Sagar shaken and unsure of what to do next. He grapples with the guilt of lying to Anupama to avoid breaking her trust. 

The looming question now is how Anupama will react to Sagar and Meenu's relationship.
