Anupamaa: Pakhi threatens to raise hand on Aadhya as she defends Anupama

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anupama advises Anuj to go through the contract carefully before making any decisions. She eventually decides to sign the document. Anuj insists that Anupama should only sign after thoroughly reviewing the details, emphasising that it's crucial for her to fully understand it since it concerns her. Anupama, determined to restore happiness in their lives, plans to meet with someone important. 

Meanwhile, Indra and Bala find Anupama's demeanour endearing. Kinjal expresses admiration for the bond between Anuj and Anupama. Aadhya voices her pride in Anuj's unwavering patience in waiting for Anupama. However, Anuj acknowledges that Anupama is currently too preoccupied to focus on love and marriage, but he vows to continue doing everything for her. He reassures Aadhya that Anupama deeply cares for them, and Aadhya is finally convinced.

Meenu's readiness to marry someone else upsets Sagar:

Anuj shares a playful moment with Anupama, lightening the mood. On the other hand, Sagar is concerned about Meenu, while Toshu, Pakhi, and Dolly are filled with joy. Dolly encourages Anupama to be happy, sharing the news that Meenu's engagement has been arranged. She mentions that the groom is not only wealthy but also a doctor. When Anupama asks Meenu if she's ready to marry someone else, Meenu admits she's made the decision, realising that love alone isn't enough for a successful life. She believes Sagar isn't the right fit for her, leading Anupama to suspect that Dolly might have pressured Meenu. Meenu, however, refuses to discuss it further.

As Dolly urges Meenu to start packing her things, Hasmuk inquires about the preparations. Toshu reveals that the groom's family will stay with them until the wedding, but Leela refuses to accompany Dolly. Meenu feels remorseful for causing Toshu distress, while Sagar becomes emotional. Anupama comforts him, but later, Sagar vanishes, leading Anupama to worry about his whereabouts. Anuj steps in to console her. Toshu and Pakhi, meanwhile, are excited about relocating to a new home.

Meenu and Sagar are married:

Leela decides to side with Dolly and accuses Anupama of supporting Sagar and Meenu. Things take a tense turn when Dolly blames Anupama after discovering that both Meenu and Sagar are missing. Pakhi and Toshu suspect that Anupama may have helped the couple run away. Dolly confronts Anupama, who tries to defend herself, but Anuj intervenes, urging Dolly to stop disrespecting Anupama. 

Soon after, Meenu and Sagar return as a married couple, much to Dolly's fury. She demands that Meenu remove her sindoor, but Anupama intervenes, preventing Dolly from wiping it off. Meenu stands by her decision. Leela, visibly upset, reprimands Meenu, telling her to feel ashamed. Dolly starts blaming Anuj and Anupama for influencing Meenu to take such drastic step. 

Anupama ignores Sagar and questions Meenu:

Aadhya steps in, urging Dolly to stop blaming Anupama and involving both her and Anuj in every issue. This leads to rising tensions as Pakhi and Aadhya get into a heated argument. Aadhya questions why, despite having so many complaints, they continue to stay with Anupama. She points out that while they rely on Anupama for support, they also subject her to criticism. She further challenges Pakhi, implying that even after struggling in a hotel, Pakhi hasn't understood Anupama's value. This enrages Pakhi, who threatens Aadhya with a slap, escalating their conflict as they shout at each other. Anuj steps in, warning Pakhi to think carefully before raising a hand on Aadhya or anyone else, while also advising Aadhya to avoid interfering when elders are speaking, bringing the confrontation to a halt.

Meenu, standing firm, asks Anupama to respect her choice. Anupama, torn, questions the couple about their decision to marry without the family's approval and sympathises with Dolly's concerns. She feels that Meenu and Sagar made a mistake by eloping, drawing a comparison to what happened during Toshu and Pakhi’s situations. She expresses that Meenu should have made an effort to understand Dolly’s perspective instead of making such a drastic decision. Emotional, she remarks that Meenu has hurt Dolly with her actions. As Sagar attempts to speak, Anupama silently signals him to stay quiet, using a hand gesture to stop him, all while visibly upset with him.
