Anupamaa: Love triangles are in the making as Mahi falls for Prem, and he for Rahi

Tonight's episode of Anupamaa opens with Rahi contemplating Anupama's words. Anupama, prepared for Anuj's return, had encouraged Rahi to also prepare herself, gifting her an outfit as a gesture of support. However, Rahi is deeply conflicted, and after some thought, she discards the outfit Anupama gave her. The festival of Dhanteras is announced, and Jhanki and Anupama join in a lively dance, with Jhanki appreciating Anupama's grace and enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, Toshu questions why Rahi has returned after stealing money, and Pakhi suggests they need a strong reason to get Rahi to leave. Leela, ever the critic, expresses her need for a reason to criticise Anupama. Toshu remarks that eventually, the opportunity to reproach both Anupama and Rahi will arise.

Pari teases Mahi:

On another note, Ishani informs Kunal of her intention to repay him. Ansh notices Ishani's tension and inquires about it, prompting her to explain that her collaboration plans aren't working out. Ansh tries to reassure her, suggesting that she can earn again anytime. When a nearby pani puri vendor offers to collaborate with her, Ishani quickly dismisses him.

Elsewhere, Mahi admires her appearance, prompting Pari to tease her, hinting that Mahi might have a love interest given her sudden interest in her looks. Mahi is visibly enchanted when she spots Prem, who compliments both her and Pari. However, while Mahi is captivated by Prem, his eyes are searching for Rahi. The program's host calls the residents to begin the event, and Anupama enthusiastically steps forward to celebrate Rahi's return, much to Leela's disapproval. Leela questions Anupama's continuous celebrations, to which Anupama responds that she will celebrate as often as she gets the chance.

During the festivities, Anupama imagines Rahi dancing alongside her and feels a deep longing for her. Prem receives a concerning call from someone called Khalnayak, which leaves him uneasy. As Rahi joins the celebration, Anupama showers her with rose petals, but Rahi walks away. Jhanki comments that Rahi won't be able to distance herself from Anupama for long.

In another moment, Rahi encounters Prem and questions whether he's staring at her. Prem clarifies that he's simply watching, adding that the difference lies in intent, clearly taken by her presence. Rahi observes Ishani's unease and becomes suspicious, while Anupama privately hopes for Anuj's swift return. Prem joins the Shah family on the dance floor, and Anupama's heart warms at the sight of Rahi participating. She silently wishes that Rahi and the Shahs could fully accept each other.

As the Diwali preparations are underway, Anupama gets help from Ansh, Mahi, and Pari. Rahi, on the other hand, reminisces about Vyas, Bubbly, and the children and misses Anuj dearly. Jhanki is thrilled to receive new orders, which led to a brief squabble with Leela.

Mahi gets all dressed up, prompting Anupama to inquire about her plans. Mahi replies that she's simply dressed for Diwali and shares her decision to wear a sari for the occasion. Anupama encourages Rahi to don a sari as well, but Rahi brushes off her suggestion.
