Anupamaa: Leela stands firm against Toshu's control in the Shah household

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Hasmuk notices Anupama looking tense and asks her what’s troubling her. Anupama explains that Anuj went to meet Ankush and Barkha to seek answers. She further mentions that she chose not to accompany him as she didn’t want to interfere in the conversation between the brothers. Anupama feels concerned about Anuj, but Hasmuk advises her not to let it weigh on her, assuring her that Anuj will manage.

Meanwhile, Ankush questions Anuj about his disappearance and claims that he had searched for him but eventually assumed he had died, just like Aadhya. Anuj, however, reveals that Aadhya is very much alive and currently living with him and Anupama, leaving Ankush in shock. Anuj confronts Ankush for lying about Aadhya’s death and expresses his disgust over Ankush and Barkha’s actions. Feeling betrayed, Anuj demands an explanation from Ankush about why he turned against him. Ankush remains speechless, and Anuj goes as far as calling him an enemy.

Anupama comforts Mahi:

In another scene, Aadhya asks Sagar for help with her studies. Anupama notices that Sagar appears to be under a lot of stress. While Sagar reflects on Dolly’s accusations, Anupama assumes his anxiety is due to his exams and reassures him that he can talk to her without hesitation.

Later, Mahi approaches Anupama in tears. When Anupama inquires why she’s upset, Mahi confesses that she doesn’t want to return to Kavya. She begs Anupama not to send her away and expresses her desire for a family. Mahi then asks Anupama to give her shelter and promises to support her in return. Anupama is taken aback by Mahi's request and decides that she needs to confront Toshu. Mahi is pleased with her decision. Indra, curious about Mahi’s distress, asks Anupama what happened. Anupama reveals that Toshu has been causing trouble for Mahi and adds that Toshu, along with Ankush, Barkha, and Dolly, are behaving irrationally.

Leela breaks the contribution box:

Whereas Anuj demands that Ankush return his property, but Ankush refuses, which leads to a heated confrontation. Anuj is furious, and Ankush retaliates by throwing him out of the house. Despite this, Anuj warns Ankush that he is determined to reclaim what belongs to him.

Meanwhile, Leela decides to buy some fruits for Dolly. Toshu suggests that Dolly should contribute to the household chores. However, Leela dismisses him and advises Toshu to see a psychiatrist, making it clear that she won’t allow him to dominate the Shah household. She smashes the contribution box and says she'll now see how things go for him without it. On another front, Bala prays for the person he loves. Aadhya learns that Bala has feelings for someone and prays for Anupama and Anuj as well. Anuj later tells Anupama about his determination to fight Ankush and Barkha to reclaim his property and asks for her support. Anupama agrees to stand by him. Hasmuk, Bala, and Aadhya all pray for the reunion of Anuj and Anupama, referred to as "MaAn."
