Anupamaa: Anupamaa breaks down, questions why life keeps pushing her back to zero

In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, the storyline unfolds with emotional memories and tense confrontations. Anupama visits Anu Ki Rasoi and is flooded with old memories. Paritosh grows increasingly restless, fearing that his mother might discover he has sold all the utensils belonging to the place. Trying to mask his nervousness, he asks Anupama why she is there. She replies that no one has come to the Rasoi for quite some time and urges him to speak up. To cover his tracks, Paritosh calls the place “unlucky,” claiming that’s the reason it remains abandoned. Anupama firmly disagrees, stating that Anu Ki Rasoi is where she rediscovered her identity, something he will never understand. She tells him to leave. Worried, Paritosh wonders what excuse he will give if Anupama questions him about the missing utensils.

Left alone, Anupama remembers Vasundhara’s harsh words, that despite all her efforts in life, including her marriages, Anu Ki Rasoi, the America Cooking Star competition, her dance academy, and multiple dance contests, she is still struggling. The memories leave her shattered, and she questions why every time she tries to move forward, life brings her back to square one. She longs for Anuj but motivates herself not to give up hope.

Elsewhere, Jignesh comments on the haldi preparations and chats with Manohar about seeing rose pakodas for the first time. When he playfully interferes with the haldi, Leela quickly rescues it from him.

Watching the haldi, Parag gets emotional, recalling Prarthana. Vasundhara tries to divert him, asking him to focus on eating rather than connecting everything to Prarthana, while Khyati too encourages him to have food.

On the other side, Anupama reflects on her helplessness. Despite her efforts to make Prarthana shine as a bride, she feels only parental blessings can give a bride her true glow. She silently wishes the Kotharis would attend the function. Soon, the Shahs and the Kotharis come together for a lively dance performance. Leela, however, notices Prarthana’s dull expression and questions Anupama about her conversation with the Kotharis. Anupama asks her to wait patiently and silently hopes Parag will join his daughter’s haldi.

Meanwhile, Paritosh tries to lighten the mood, reminding everyone how they couldn’t enjoy Pari and Raja’s wedding and how chaos erupted at Mahi and Aryan’s wedding. His words make both Mahi and Anupama recall the painful past. Rahi, however, blames Anupama directly, accusing her of being the reason Parag, Khyati, and Vasundhara are absent from Prarthana’s ceremony.

In another sequence, Gautam plays mind games with Vasundhara. He reminds her that he was the one who saved the Kothari business when it was collapsing, yet his sacrifices have gone unacknowledged. He bitterly adds that while he continues to live as their son, he feels unrewarded. Turning the conversation, he brings up Ansh and says he cannot allow his own child to grow up in another household. He expresses his frustration by insisting that he cannot allow his child to grow up under another family’s identity or guidance. Gautam feels strongly that while he may not have been able to achieve certain goals in his own life, his child must succeed where he could not.

He further warns Vasundhara that if Ansh is accepted as their son-in-law, he will turn against the family. His declaration leaves Vasundhara shocked and unsettled.

Back at the haldi function, Anupama resolves to carry forward the celebrations for Prarthana with strength and determination, no matter what obstacles lie ahead.
