Anupamaa: Anuj promises to forget Anupama; is this the end of #MaAn?

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) confronts Anupama (Rupali Ganguly), insisting she cannot leave him for Aadhya. Anupama, however, stresses that Aadhya needs Shruti. Anuj then asks Anupama to accompany him, vowing not to neglect Shruti. Anupama urges Anuj to consider Aadhya's needs. He pleads with Anupama, saying she can't abandon him forever again.

She advises him to go to the USA, suggesting that they are not meant to be together. She mentions that Anuj wasn't truly happy in their marriage and decides they should remain apart. Elsewhere, Aadhya, hopeful, starts packing, believing Anupama won't break her promise.

Anupama tells Anuj to move on with his life and says she will avoid him if their paths cross again. She asks Anuj not to contact her. Anuj, distressed, asks Anupama not to make a hasty decision and wants to know who influenced her. Anupama, thinking of Aadhya, asserts that the decision is hers alone. Anuj argues that decisions should be mutual and wants to know who put ideas in her head. Anupama asks Anuj to give her happiness by agreeing to the separation and proving his love.

Anupama threatens Anuj:

Anuj refuses to leave Anupama, prompting her to threaten that he will see her dead if he doesn't go. Anuj promises Anupama that he will never seek her out and will forget her, even if they meet again by chance. Despite this, Anuj vows to always love Anupama. Stunned, Anupama breaks down, feeling everything has ended. For Aadhya's sake, she sacrifices her happiness and prays for Aadhya's well-being.

Anuj is devastated. Meanwhile, Aadhya waits for Anuj and decides to message Anupama, asking if she has distanced herself from him. Toshu and Pakhi pressure Vanraj to get Anupama's signature, concerned about the penthouse. Vanraj warns them to stop harassing him or risk losing any flats he might give them. Kavya advises Vanraj against giving Toshu and Pakhi full ownership. 

Aadhya meets with Anupama, who advises her to stay happy and to take care of Anuj, cautioning her never to emotionally manipulate him. Aadhya plans to invite Anupama to Anuj and Shruti's wedding. Later, Bhavesh tends to Anupama as she decides to bid farewell to Anuj. Anuj is lost in the thoughts of Anupama, who becomes emotional.
