Anupamaa: Anuj confronts Samar's demise, but Anupama dismisses it as a prank

Tonight's Anupamaa episode starts off with an emotional moment between Samar and Anupama. Anupama is seen visualizing Samar sitting at the kitchen window and having a heartfelt conversation with her. Samar presents his gratitude towards her and appreciates her for everything, even for gifting him with a great and loving family. Anupama is puzzled as well as happy listening to this confession and thus asks him the reason behind his emotional confessions. Anupama wants him to stop this emotional confession as she might cry and ask him to get inside, but he relentlessly asks her to listen. Samar continues with his admission while Anupama feeds him her handmade Kheer. Samar holds Anupama's pallu, and they exchange their gratitude moment. Suddenly, lightning strikes and Anupama wonders about this sudden change of weather. Meanwhile, Samar gets hold of the pallu emotionally, and with thank you and sorry, he departs, leaving Anupama concerned for him. 

Anuj and his gang arrive at the Shah residence:

Anupama searches for candles as there is cut-off electricity but doesn't find any, making her think Baa might have exchanged the places. Meanwhile, ladies Antakshari is interrupted as Baa can't able to see anyone. Kinjal inquires if Anupama did find any candles. Anupama gets one, and with the help of one candle's light, she will find the other one too. As soon as she lights up the one and turns around, suddenly Anuj appears in front of her. Anupama gets scared but is relieved to see Anuj. She notices other men standing behind him and asks if everyone has arrived.

Anuj's shocking revelation:

All the men stand silently, and the women wonder why they are not speaking. The power returns and the men are seen in a devastated state. The women become concerned and question why they are behaving this way. Anupama is shocked when Anuj reveals that Samar has left them forever. All the women are in disbelief. Anupama assumes it's a prank and appreciates their acting as she will not fall for such a cheap prank. Anupama gets furious and warns everyone not to continue the same as it's not as funny as they think. 

Samar gets shot:

Vanraj, devastated, uncontrollably sits on the floor and recalls the incident where Sonu had shot at Anuj, and Samar had jumped in front of him to protect him, getting shot himself. Vanraj pleads with Samar to stay awake, but Samar closes his eyes. Dimpy suggests that Anuj is playing a prank, but Anupama dismisses it and laughs at the idea as some time ago, Samar visited her, and they both shared an emotional moment. Anuj is shocked to learn this. Anupama then scolds the men for trying to play such a joke. Anuj reiterates that Samar is no more, and Toshu also confirms this. Anupama becomes furious, warning them not to play such a cruel prank. Anupama constantly looks at the door and calls out for her son 'Samar'.

In the precap of Anupamaa, Anupama calls out for her son, Samar, and her heart sinks as Vanraj delivers the heartbreaking news that Samar has left. Anupama desperately chases after him but ends up falling.
