Anupamaa: Adhya sees Anupama for the first time in years but chooses to run away

Star Plus' Anupamaa continues to captivate viewers, consistently leading the TRP charts with its emotional depth and intricate family dynamics. Following a significant generational leap, the storyline now shifts to several years into the future, focusing on Anupama and the Shah family in Ahmedabad. Despite the time that has passed, Anupama holds onto hope for a reunion with Anuj and their daughter, Adhya.

On Prem's advice, she travels to Dwarka to offer a Morpankh as a vow, praying for her long-lost daughter's return. Unbeknownst to her, Adhya, now living under the alias Rahi, resides in a Dwarka orphanage. Harbouring deep resentment toward her mother, Rahi has embraced a new life, working as a tour guide to support the orphanage children while keeping her true identity hidden.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Rahi decides not to meet the guests upon learning they are from Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Anupama, instead of staying at their ashram, chooses to lodge nearby. The following day, Anupama lovingly creates a rangoli of Adhya and expresses her emotions, saying she doesn't feel like leaving despite Ansh calling her for the prayer ritual dedicated to Adhya. 

Meanwhile, Adhya, now going by the name Rahi, crosses paths with Prem once more. After sharing a light-hearted and playful conversation, Rahi gets ready to leave. Prem cheerfully says goodbye and suggests they will meet again. In response, Rahi questions why they would meet and firmly insists that they won't cross paths again. However, Prem, known for his gentle nature, reassures her with a smile, saying that if Kanha ji wills it, they will meet again. As he departs, spinning his keys on one finger, Rahi is left feeling puzzled.

Later, Anupama, along with Ansh and Prem, attends the special yagya for Adhya. As Rahi walks nearby, she stumbles upon the rangoli of her own face made by Anupama, sending her into shock and fear. Unable to process the overwhelming emotions, Rahi flees, only to find Anupama deep in prayer. Upon seeing her mother after so many years, Rahi is both stunned and deeply hurt.

As Anupama participates in the yagya, she begins to sense Adhya's presence close by. Feeling increasingly restless, she attempts to get up, certain that she has spotted her daughter. Meanwhile, Rahi, not wanting to confront Anupama, runs away, determined to keep her distance. The big question remains: Will Anupama be able to recognize her grown-up daughter, Adhya? Rahi's reaction suggests she is intent on keeping her true identity hidden.

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Rahi approaches the children and Vyas only to discover they are planning to celebrate her birthday. Reminded of painful memories with Anupama and Anuj, Rahi refuses the celebration, leading Vyas to suspect she's hiding something. Meanwhile, Anupama dreams about her estranged daughter Adhya, who accuses her of betrayal and blames her for calling the police. Anupama denies this and pleads for Adhya to return, but her longing grows as Adhya refuses.

Back at the Shah house, Toshu criticizes Anupama's lack of focus on business, while Mahi's attempt to share a new dish causes tension. Later, Rahi struggles to secure funds after Kalwani demands repayment in seven days. A series of mishaps leads to Rahi crossing paths with Anupama unknowingly. As Rahi chases a thief, Anupama steps in to help Prem with a scooter, and the two team up to catch the culprit, while Ansh searches for Anupama.
