Zee TV’s reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon is all set to wrap up its very first season in the first week of October. The unique show, which began on August 3, 2025, captured the attention of viewers with its fresh format and gripping drama. Now, reports suggest that after weeks of emotional, physical, and cultural challenges, the show has found its winner — popular actress Anita Hassanandani.

Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the show brought together 11 urban women and placed them in a rural setting where they had to give up their city luxuries and live like villagers. From milking cows, fetching water, and riding bullock carts to cooking on chulhas and learning local traditions, the contestants had to adapt to an entirely new way of life. Their progress was evaluated based on their performance in tasks, ability to bond with villagers, emotional resilience, and consistency. Every week, one contestant was awarded the title “Chhori Number 1,” which brought special privileges, while the weakest participants faced elimination.

The season featured a diverse set of contestants, including Anita Hassanandani, Krishna Shroff, Aishwarya Khare, Sumukhi Suresh, Anjumm Faakih, Reha Sukheja, Rameet Sandhu, Erika Packard, twin sisters Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra (Chinki-Minki), and Dolly Javed.
