A source close to the production recently informed India Forums that Mangal Lakshmi, along with its spin-off Mangal Lakshmi: Lakshmi Ka Safar, might be going off-air next month. “Both the original and the spin-off are expected to wrap up soon. Given the current popularity of the show, the news came as a surprise. To get clarity on the matter, we reached out to Naman Shaw, who plays the male lead in Mangal Lakshmi. The actor, taken aback by the speculation, said he had no knowledge of such a development.

“What? No, I do not know where this is coming from. I have not heard anything of this sort,” Naman told us exclusively. “In fact, this is the first time I am hearing anything like this. As far as I know, we have not been informed about any such decision. I am really not aware of it.”

Expressing disbelief, Naman added, “Why would the show go off air? It is currently the number one show on Colors TV. It doesn’t make sense.”
